Assistant Teacher
Ms. Mia was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the US in 2015. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2022 with a B.A. in Global Studies and double minors in Educational Studies and Applied Psychology. Ms. Mia has experience working with young children, elementary, and high school students. Her journey of working with young children began in 2020 as an assistant in a toddler classroom. Shortly after graduating, she started working at a Montessori school where she developed great appreciation for the Montessori method. Ms. Mia has a passion for empowering children and helping them become the best advocates of themselves. She joined the Exploring Minds Montessori family in 2023 and is currently enrolled in a Montessori Teacher Education Program to receive her certification.
